CFM at the 2009 AAM Annual Meeting

During the AAM Annual Meeting, CFM encouraged attendees to experience the meeting in a new way by participating in FutureQuest.
It was a real-time interactive game that CFM ran during the meeting. Participants played in the following manners:
  • Going to FutureQuest tagged sessions and sharing their insights via a blog, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or email.
  • Sending a postcard from the future. Some examples are found here.
  • Voting for "Most Promising Material of the Future," the product, service or idea in MuseumExpo™ believed most likely to have a profound effect on museums.
CFM also held a session on "Crowdsourcing the Future" which drew forecasts based on information found in our Museums and Society 2034: Trends and Potential Futures report. Interested in examples of forecasts attendees developed? Some can be found here.

The game has not ended yet though! We need your help in choosing the "Most Promising Material of the Future." We have a three-way tie between Fentress Architects, GestureTek and Green Guestbook. Please take a moment to read about each of these companies and then vote for your favorite!
